Jax Bridges for Entreprenuers

(Photos and Video coming soon)
For over the past 7 years, we have tried to make it on our own and learning whatever we can, whereever we can. We have been to conventions, master classes, seminars, did interviews of professionals in the industry, and nothing seemed to click in my little head.

It wasn't until last year when I had enough and decided to grow my company into a functional business that not only serves to consumers, but also to business and to the government.

I didn't know how to go about doing this, so I did more research and came across the Chamber of Commerce for the City of Jacksonville. It was there and through the Small Business Association that I learned about Jax to Bridges for Entrepreneurs.

One thing that is always hard for business owners and entrepreneurs to handle, is pricing... "HOW MUCH is our material worth, and WHO IS OUR AUDIENCE?"

Over the past several weeks and months, the mentors at JAX Bridges has really helped me understand that my product is NOT for everyone, and it shouldn't be. It should be for only those who actually NEED my product and what I offer, and what I offer is and has a premium because I am worth it, what I sell and deliver is worth it, and there aren't any discounts because life isn't a discount. We only have one live to life and we have to live it to its fullest and take every opportunity presented because it might only come around once.

From learning how to structure a business model and business plan, to constructing my value proposition, what my needs are and who my target audience is, I have been able to home-in on the key factors that characterize the company I run, and build the foundation on something solid and that can withhold scrutiny and the test of time.

Losing my dad and Granddad both within a little over a year of each other back in 2020 and 2021, really hit me hard, on top of the family issues that already existed. I had no one to turn to. I had no one to run to with questions or people that would be in my corner in the same way they were or could be. My wife and kids are and always have been a support structure, but as many know, if these people we love so much know little to nothing about business or how to run a business, or even the industry I'm in, there is no way for them to understand what it takes to thrive and succeed.

I am now DAYS away from pitching to the City of Jacksonville and the several companies and businesses, and branches that are a part of the city. One single contract could change my entire life, my family's lives, and those I love and care about who are in the industry and have always stood by me, but not really felt supported themselves.

This is also an opportunity to gain investments so that I can purchase the studios, hire the people I need, and grow a functional organization that thrives on not just commercial and business to business advertising, but also documentaries that tell stories of those within the Jacksonville region and also help them grow by providing free video advertising services to them at no cost, because we know that these businesses and the individuals we choose to sponsor have the GRIT and just need that help to get them going.

I want to give back through my company, and JAX Bridges is making all of this possible just by simply providing the resources, the people in my corner, and the other businesses that are joining me in my Cohort (Cohort 21) as we all are on this adventure in life together as one family that will forever be there for each other.

I can't wait to for what is to come and most of all, the people I'll be able to help as well as tell their stories of who they are and what they have done.

On that note: if you are a business that would like to apply for the opportunity to tell your story and have a business, I would love to hear from you and potentially partner with you and be that "apple box" as we like to call it in this industry to help you step your way up to your fullest potential.
